Millions raised for charity

Our ATCO EPIC program is a grassroots initiative involving employee-led committees that plan, implement and administer workplace fundraising campaigns within the company. The program combines fundraising events, auctions, friendly team competitions and employee pledges that support more than 800 charitable and non-profit organizations.

In 2017, our people raised $3.4 million. 
 

Matching donations

Our people can donate to the charity of their choice, giving them the opportunity to make a difference in their community. We then matches employee donations to human health and wellness charities, effectively doubling the impact in these communities.

We cover all administration costs, ensuring that 100 per cent of the funds raised go directly toward the benefiting organizations.

 

Volunteering their time

ATCO EPIC also recognizes our people who volunteer their time and share their talents with charitable and non-profit organizations. Every year, our people who volunteer for 50 hours or more are eligible to apply for a donation to a registered charity of their choice.

In 2017, ATCO employees volunteered more than 8,500 hours to make our communities a better place to work and live.
