• ATCO is proud to launch its second Reconciliation Action Plan

ATCO is proud to continue its reconciliation journey with the launch our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Our Innovate RAP was co-developed with over 40 ATCO team members from different backgrounds, heritages and roles within our business. It represents the passion of our organisation and will provide guidance on the next phase of our Reconciliation Journey.

ATCO is committed to developing meaningful relationships and creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the areas where we operate and live. ATCO’s vision for reconciliation is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to have opportunity, respect and empowerment, by working towards achieving an Australia where our First People’s histories and cultures are respected and ATCO plays a leading role in providing opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

ATCO’s commitment to Reconciliation in Australia reflects the company’s global philosophy of building and maintaining relationships that respect the unique cultural identity and history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as well as contribute to sustainable communities and ongoing economic development.

“As a business we continue to work very hard to integrate this approach into our core operations and ensure that respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is embedded in the way we conduct our business every day and is reflected in our policies, procedures and recruitment practices,” said ATCO Australia Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer Patrick Creaghan.

Implementing the Innovate RAP strengthens our approach to driving reconciliation through our business activities and community programs, and develop mutually beneficial relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and organisations.

ATCO’s Innovate RAP provides a framework to build upon the learnings and experiences gained from implementing ATCO’s Reflect RAP, to better develop to continue this important journey of reconciliation.
