ATCO Australia owns and operates two power plants in Australia, which are located in Western Australia and South Australia.

Osborne Cogeneration Power Station

Osborne Cogeneration Power Station

A 50:50 joint venture between ATCO Australia and Origin Energy, the 180MW Osborne plant is located near Adelaide. Osborne sells its electrical output under a long-term power purchase agreement to Origin. The plant?s design accommodates operating in both cogeneration and combined cycle modes. The facility is fuelled by natural gas from South Australia?s Cooper basin.

Karratha Power Station

Commissioned in 2010, the 86MW Karratha Power Station generates electricity to supply residential and business consumers under a long-term power off take contract with Horizon Power. The ATCO Australia team can take pride in the fact that the project was completed within budget and meets all performance guarantee requirements including output, heat rate, noise and nitrous oxide (NOx) emissions.
