Globally, ATCO's approach to sustainability is grounded in a comprehensive commitment to environmental stewardship, innovation, and community engagement. Almost a quarter of ATCO?s power generation portfolio is already coming from renewable sources, including hydroelectric, wind and solar. ATCO is set to achieve our goal of owning, developing, or managing more than 1,000 MW of renewable energy by 2030.
In Australia, we are also exploring renewable gas solutions, such as renewable hydrogen and biomethane, in our gas operations to reduce our carbon footprint and advance the transition to a low-carbon economy. Located in Jandakot, Western Australia, our Clean Energy Innovation Hub also exemplifies our dedication to exploring and implementing sustainable energy technologies.
