• ATCO flies donation to Australia despite pandemic

Our $1 million donation to the Business Council of Australia’s BizRebuild program is an action that we are incredibly honored to take, in order to provide meaningful support for BizRebuild’s initiative to help communities and businesses recover in the wake of the disaster.

Back in February of this year, we made a very special announcement that ATCO would be expanding on our commitment to the communities impacted by the devastating bushfires that ravaged Australia in late 2019 and early 2020. Our $1 million donation to the Business Council of Australia’s BizRebuild program is an action that we are incredibly honored to take, in order to provide meaningful support for BizRebuild’s initiative to help communities and businesses recover in the wake of the disaster.

BizRebuild was established by the Business Council of Australia and will run for five years, working closely with the National Bushfire Recovery Agency to co-ordinate support from the business community. Their work is focused on three priorities: rebuilding businesses and jobs, rebuilding communities, and rebuilding industries.

While our Chair & Chief Executive Officer, Nancy Southern, had planned to present the cheque in person, the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March rerouted us down a more innovative path to celebrating our commitment to communities and businesses in Australia—a country which ATCO has a long and special history with.
