Our enterprise-wide council listens, learns, and amplifies grassroots ideas and initiatives across our businesses, to further advance diversity, equity, and inclusion. In June, events at ATCO focus especially on celebrating, reflecting, and learning. They include Elder Sharing Circles, M�tis storytelling, Indigenous pop-up art markets, cultural hikes, ribbon skirt presentation, M�tis Jigging tutorial, powwow demonstration, hide scraping demonstration, and the raising of National Indigenous History Month flags.

Anthony Johnson, a Two-Spirit, 2SLGBTQIA+, and Indigenous advocate will share his global stories and perspective on the significance of authenticity, self-discovery, and creating a sense of purpose.

ATCO has a long-standing history of community involvement, and members of the ATCO team volunteered their time to sell 50/50 tickets benefitting the Stoney Nakoda food bank at the Cavalry FC Indigenous Peoples Celebration Match. Later this summer, members of Team ATCO will be participating in Pride events in Edmonton and Calgary in August and September.
