“The experience so far has been nothing short of amazing. I’m a relatively introverted person – I don’t like talking about my problems. A lot of people here have changed my mind on that and helped me open up. On top of the sports and the teamwork, I think the biggest thing that I’ve been doing at the Invictus training camps has been growth.”

ATCO is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of Team Canada at the 2023 Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, and the Co-Presenting Partner of the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler, Canada.

The Invictus Games, first held in London in 2014, uses the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and generate a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured, and sick veteran and active-duty soldiers.

Invictus, which is Latin for “unconquered”, symbolizes the determined spirit of these service personnel and what they can achieve, post-injury or diagnosis. It is a privilege to continue to celebrate and stand behind the heroes who serve our country through ATCO’s support of the Invictus Games.

For many of the Invictus athletes, competing in the games is so much more than sport — it’s about purpose, challenging themselves, and being a part of a team again. ATCO is proud to sponsor Team Canada and feature some of the athletes and their inspiring stories on the road to Düsseldorf.
