The ATCO Alberta Heartland Energy Centre covers 2,000 acres in the Alberta Industrial Heartland (AIH) and provides a full suite of energy options. The location is ideal for access to pipelines, natural gas, and industrial water. The facility currently contains five underground salt caverns with a capacity to store 550,000 cubic meters of propane, butane, and ethylene. ATCO’s land and mineral position at this location allows for tremendous growth potential with capacity for up to 40 caverns for storing natural gas liquids and hydrocarbon products.
