Situated within Calgary, Alberta's city limits, our Deerfoot solar facility stands as the largest urban solar installation in Western Canada, covering more than 200 acres and featuring over 100,000 solar panels. Jointly owned by ATCO EnPower and the Chiniki and Goodstoney First Nations. With 41 MW generation, the facility can provide enough energy for 9,300 homes.
Situated within Calgary, Alberta?s city limits, our Barlow solar facility covers 150 acres with approximately 70,000 solar panels. It is a joint venture with the Chiniki and Goodstoney First Nations. With 31 MW generation, the facility can provide enough energy for 7,100 homes.
Situated to the south of Empress, Alberta, our solar project spans 280 acres. It boasts a generating capacity of 38.5 MW, featuring approximately 90,000 panels, which can provide power to over 11,000 homes.
