The expansion into wind aligns with ATCO's commitment to sustainable energy solutions. Growing our portfolio, ATCO gained 232 MW of wind power through the January 2023 Suncor acquisition and is actively working on developing an additional 620 MW in wind projects.

Forty Mile Wind Phase I?

Located in Forty Mile County in southeastern Alberta, this project went into operation in December 2022. It produces 202 MW of energy, which is enough to power more than 100,000 homes.

Adelaide Wind Farm?

Adelaide is a wind farm jointly owned by ATCO and the Aamjiwnaang First Nations. Located near Strathroy, in the Municipality of Adelaide Metcalf, Ontario, the project produces 40 MW of energy, which is enough to power more than 20,000 homes.�
