Changes to My Account

If you've been an ATCO customer for a while:

Your new My Account is now active and you'll need to create a new password to log in. Use this link to create your new password using the email on your ATCO account.

 

If you are a new customer:

If you created an account with us online after April 27, there's no need to reset your password. You should be able to sign in to your account.

  • Why do I have to reset my password?

    On April 27, we’ll be starting fresh with a new My Account system. Your password has always been private. We don’t have access to customer passwords, so we weren’t able to migrate any passwords to the new system. 

  • Can I use the same password I have now?

    If the password you have now has at least 8 characters, is a combination of letters and numbers and has at least one special character, you sure can. You can change it up too if you want. It’s up to you. 

  • What if I forget my password?

    No worries, it happens. Just click “Forgot Password” on the login page and we’ll send you an email to reset your account. If you have trouble, send us a quick message through Live Chat and we’ll help you out. 

  • I received a notification saying I had 24 hours to change my password. What if I missed that deadline?

    No problem. Just click “Forgot Password” on the login page and we’ll send you an email to reset your account. If you have trouble, send us a quick message through Live Chat and we’ll help you out. 

  • What changes will I see?

    Many of the upgrades are taking place behind the scenes to help us give you a smoother experience, but you will see a few changes when you log in to the new My Account. 

    If you’re an ATCOenergy customer, you’ll see all the familiar My Account features, plus a few new features in the Consumption tab.

    If you're an ATCOenergy customer and have also shopped with us for products for your home, all your energy plans and product purchases will now be visible in one place. You can easily switch between the My Energy menu for your energy plan and My Products for your shopping. 

    If you’ve only shopped with us for products, but don’t have an ATCOenergy account, you’ll still need to reset your password, but you won’t see any changes to My Account.

  • How will this affect my business energy account?

    If you’re an ATCOenergy business customer, you’ll see all the familiar My Account features, plus a few new features in the Consumption tab.  

    If you have an ATCOenergy account for both your home and business, we’ll ask you to reset your password for each account. (You can use the same password for both if you'd like.) From the login page, you’ll be able to choose to log in to your home or business account. This will make it easier for you to manage your information, and easier for us to assist you with your account information.   

  • I have an ATCOenergy account and shop.atco.com account. What should I do?

    You’re in luck! Your new My Account lets you see both your ATCOenergy account information and your product purchases in one convenient location. After you reset your password, you can log in with a single email address and password and you’ll have everything you need right at your fingertips.
