ATCO RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF ALBERTA’S TOP EMPLOYERS
ATCO was recognized in 2022 for leading the way as a top employer in Alberta and as a top employer for young people in Canada.
Alberta’s Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers. ATCO was recognized with this important designation for leading in our industry by offering an exceptional place to work. ATCO’s vision and values are ever-present in the caring culture and environment we provide for our employees across the globe, including in our flagship Alberta.
ATCO’s caring nature is reflected in our company’s annual EPIC (Employees Participating In Communities) charity campaign. Not only does ATCO provide time for employees to volunteer in the community, but we match our employees’ donations to any registered health and wellness charity. “We have raised over $47 million for charities since 2006,” says Vice President of Human Resources, Deanna Girard. “We’re really proud of that.”

Canada’s Top Employers for Young People is organized annually by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers.
This special designation recognizes employers that offer the country’s best workplaces and programs for young people starting their careers. ATCO, along with the other employers on this list, are Canada's leaders in attracting and retaining younger employees to their organizations.
ATCO shines as a top employer for young people through initiatives like our summer student program where students gain valuable skills through a variety of professional development offerings including resume-building and interviews, webinars, virtual networking opportunities, job shadowing, rotations and career fairs.
