The state of the art ATCO Gas Blue Flame Kitchen facility in Jandakot, Western Australia teaches the safe, effective and efficient use of natural gas.
The ATCO Gas Blue Flame Kitchen offers classes aimed at year 5 and 6 students.
Away from the traditional classroom environment, students can participate in hands on activities and 'real-world' learning opportunities. The program content is underpinned by the ACARA curriculum framework and incorporates syllabus components, for example using maths skills to measure ingredients and science skills as to how food is cooked. The core of our kitchen philosophy is about teaching the next generation about safe, healthy choices.
Our School Program sessions provide students with a range of hands on and real world learning opportunities in our purpose-built demonstration kitchen, which includes familiar gas appliances and an alfresco edible garden.
The core philosophy of the ATCO Gas Australia Blue Flame Kitchen is teaching the next generation about safe, healthy choices. To do this, our state of the art kitchen features a range of facilities that create a unique learning environment for students.
